Harrogate Conservation Area

The Brief

The property is located within the Harrogate Conservation area, close to the Duchy Estate.

Our clients’ brief was a basement conversion of their traditional three storey Victorian semi-detached property to form a separate one bedroomed apartment.

We were able to obtain planning approval of our Architectural design to convert the basement and existing garage, excavate, and extend further out under a newly created decking area (at ground floor level), including the addition of bifolding doors to the new living space.

The result was a stunning, light, self contained apartment of approximately 80 square metres.
